Die Arbeitstiefe kann, je nach Bedarf, über die seitlich angebrachte Gleitkufe eingestellt werden.
Der Antrieb der Fräse erfolgt über die Zapfwelle eines Traktors, mit 540 U/min ein sehr robustes Winkelgetriebe.
Von dort aus wird die Kraft durch eine Kette auf die Fräswelle übertragen.
Die abgewinkelten Messer arbeiten sich durch den Boden und werfen die Erde gegen das hintere höhenverstellbare Prallblech.
Dieses sorgt für eine gute Zerkrümelung und der damit verbundenen Auflockerung des Saatbettes.
